About the event

    Co-sponsored by the Bureau of the Shanghai World Expo Coordination and Shanghai Women¡¯s Federation, the 2009 China Businesswomen Summit is by far the largest and most influential meeting for businesswomen and leaders and corporate executives in China.
    The event is held by CCTV.com¡¢¡¶Manager Magazine¡·,¡¶Shanghai Daily¡·,and organized by Wingo PR, a leading PR agency in China. The Summit will present a perfect platform for domestic and foreign businesswomen, leaders and corporate executives in China to get together and showcase their achievements.
    In the past 30 years of reform and opening up, businesswomen in China contributed significantly to the country¡¯s economy growth.
    In 2009, businesswomen around the world face up to the subprime crisis and demonstrate unique characteristics when dealing with the crisis. The forthcoming 2010 Shanghai Expo is not only a show of world-leading science and industry technology, but also a stimulant to global economy. What do businesswomen see in this Expo, and how will they explore the opportunities presented by it.
    Some of Chinese and foreign female business leaders, and senior managers from coporate world will be invited to deliver speeches and participate in dialogues.
